Don Mozart

Haling from Mckenzie, Tennessee. DeAndre Cozart, aka Don Mozart, learned he had a keen ear and fell in love with music while growing up in the church and participating in the school band.

Life had other plans, though, and sadly, he was sent to foster care at the age of 10 then raised by his aunt, who was a strong positive force in helping to shape the person he is today.

Don began writing poetry and songwriting when he was diagnosed with leukemia, at the age of 13, as a way to express himself. He used his pain and his love of music to write poetry to cope and tell his story.

Poetry, songwriting, and his love of music kept him going after his aunt, who he called mom, passed away, along with homelessness and the streets finding him.

No matter the adversity, music pulled him through. It helped him become a very prolific songwriter, producer, recording engineer, and visionary.

With many musical influences such as Starlito, Don Trip, Kevin Gates, Sir Charles, Lil' Wayne, Kayne West, Jay-Z, Lenny Williams, and various music genres, Don's ear is open to all styles.

His ultimate goal is to reach people and let them know that no matter what you go through in life or what struggles you may be facing, life is a story, and you are in control. If you believe in something, then do not let anything take it from you. You may be at the bottom now, but there is always a brighter day tomorrow.
